Among the initiatives under implementation are the Accountability Incubator, Civic Action Teams (CivActs), and Arts4Change programming which includes Voice2Rep Zimbabwe, the ALZ Film Fellowship, and the Integrity Icon Campaign. In particular, o ur CivActs have worked hard to protect informal markets, with the program seeing many successes such as the Goromonzi Council agreeing to provide vending bays for traders. Accountability mechanisms supporting citizen demands have also been strengthened, such as through the Harare City Council receiving censure from the Environmental Management Agency for uncollected refuse. In all areas, CivActs partners are working with communities to address these and other conflicts to repair the trust between powerholders and residents.
